A homegrown enterprise
Founded in Kilinochchi in 2020, Natural Plantation set out to prove a simple idea: that world-class enterprise can be built in the Northern Province and serve the whole country.
Today the group spans branded consumer goods, FMCG distribution across 30+ branches, a 120-acre organic farm, and the holding structure that ties it together — employing over 800 people across the North and East.
We grow what we sell, hire where we operate, and reinvest in the communities that make our work possible.

Company registered
Natural Plantation (PVT) LTD registered under the Sri Lanka Companies Act No. 7 of 2007. Registration number PV 00334432. Three co-founders.
Mar 2025
First retail branch
Doors open at 142 Hospital Road, Jaffna — our flagship branch. 8 employees on day one.
Aug 2025
NF Plantation incorporated
The holding entity NF Plantation (PVT) LTD is incorporated to manage group governance, partnerships and future expansion.
Nov 2025
Nature Farming launches
Nature Farming begins cultivation on 60 acres in Kilinochchi — later expanded to 120 acres. First crops: aloe vera and coconut.
Feb 2026
Garment line opens
A garment production facility opens in Batticaloa with 40 operators. Cotton sarees and salwar sets are the first products.
May 2026
30 branches · 800 employees
The group reaches 30 retail branches across 7 districts and 800 employees group-wide. Export of Virgin Coconut Oil begins.

Mr. Kunatheepan
Founder & CEO
Founder and Chief Executive Officer of NF Groups. Mr. Kunatheepan established Natural Plantation in 2020 with a vision of empowering lives through sustainable self-reliance — building a multi-branch network rooted in the North and East of Sri Lanka that provides institutional-grade agricultural products and retail access to every community.
